L'Atelier Culinary Residence
Monolithic Calacatta Viola Kitchen, Concealed Scullery & Wine Gallery
Architectural Challenge
The homeowners frequently host private charity dinners for 40+ guests, requiring a commercial-grade catering workflow that remained completely invisible from the formal dining salon.
Engineering & Design Solution
We engineered a dual-zone culinary architecture: a sculptural front show kitchen centered around an 18-foot mitered Calacatta Viola marble island, and a concealed sound-insulated chef's scullery behind flush smoked-eucalyptus pocket doors, complete with dual Gaggenau combi-steam ovens, commercial dishwashers, and a 600-bottle climate-controlled wine gallery.
